Working life and I am looking for a chance to polish my skill

It as been quite some time since I have blog something. As my mood change from time to time. Sometimes I am really passion one thing and after a while, it does down. Lol. I think I have short attention spam. I don’t know how to fix it.

Here is a short update on me. I am currently working in a small advertising company. The work place is nice but the jobs that the boss provides to me have nothing to do with design or anything related to it. I have to change my job scope to Marketing and sales instead of designer. *Sigh* I also have to finish the job myself because my senior took the entire designers to do his work and left none to assist me on my work. It is not to say his work is a lot and need a lot of labor work, he just don’t want to do it and pass it on to the junior. Therefore, I am doing one-man-show at the moment and I hope to get another person to assist me. I really need another designer to help assist me with my work load. Though the income on my side will be small but I have triple the work load than my senior and I don’t know what the hell he is doing with so many people on his side. My boss do not want to hire more because he thinks it is a lot but I am working alone. Creative, sales, marketing and customer servicing. I have to do all of this. I can’t split my body into 2 nor will I be able to ask my senior to participate in my project. He always says that he is busy with his “work”. Therefore, I have given up on asking him to assist me on the work.

I would really love to change another company but there are a few obstacles that prevent me from doing so. I will hope that I will be able to solve all these obstacles and change this job as soon as possible. I do not mind the stress but I do mind the working attitude of my boss and senior. They are so irresponsible with their work and chuck it to the juniors to pick up their rubbish for them. I am piss off with this kind of attitude.


Anyway, these few months I am into photo shooting but I can’t find the subject I like to take. I hope that I will be able to find the model that are willing to spend their time with this amateur (me) and do some small photo shoot with me. It is a bit hard to hire a model and I do not have the money to provide costume for them. If only I can find all those student model/cosplayer in my area to help up. I don’t know anyone at the moment that caught my eyes. Even there are some, I forgot where I meet them already. Damn. I got a memory worst than a goldfish. Been all hectic and busy for quite sometimes already and I hope I will be able to have a free weekend to do some polishing on my skill.

* Baby Biz Changing a poopy baby diaper around others is nasty -- and we're moms. Changing the other kind of baby diaper in public is one thing, but still should only be done when absolutely necessary!
* Mobile Madness As much as we love the modern age, there are days when we long to go to a coffee shop, movie theatre, bookstore, or post office and not hear some teen queen dishing to her friend about last night's hot date with Todd or eavesdrop (unwillingly) on a screaming family feud. Mobile phones are essential, but please, people, pleeeeeeease, use a little restraint on the when's, what's, and where's. We're happy that Todd is "totally built" but we're going to have to start walking around town and slapping people with "TMI" tickets (yes, too much information).
* Smokes Everyone has a right to smoke in public, but be conscious of whose face your smoke is blowing into. Are there kids nearby? And we just might kick the butt of the next person we see throwing their burning butt on the ground without putting it out. Really, find an ashtray or trashcan where you can extinguish and dispose of it properly -- that thing is garbage, not decoration for our streets and sidewalks.
* The Pee & Flee Public bathrooms get used by everyone -- yup, they're public! So, making a mess of the toilet seat, and then prancing out without bothering to wipe it up -- not cool. Leaving a mess for the next visitor is completely unacceptable (and disgustingly unsanitary, of course). Take 10 seconds to rip off a piece of toilet paper, toilet seat cover, or a paper towel, and do your due diligence!
* Stealing...a parking spot, that is. Yeah, you know who you are. If someone has their blinker on and is patiently waiting for a spot, it's theirs. And if you've already passed a spot up, it's gone. Treat others as you expect to be treated, and the parking goddesses will smile down upon you... eventually.
* Belly Baring Men, women -- anyone who's passed puberty, everyone who isn't lounging poolside or oceanside -- resist the urge to bare those bellies. They may be beautiful, Buddha-like, jolly, but sometimes they can be flabby, hairy, and not ripe for public consumption. If you're jogging, fellas, t-shirts or tanks won't hurt your workout, so throw one on. Gals, midriff fashions are never really on our "Do" list, and that goes double if your age doesn't contain the word "teen." There are plenty of ways for all of us to flaunt what we got without sharing our tum-tums with the world.
* Spitting This gets especially yucky when it's one of those enormous globs that looks like it could be alive. Some people (males, in particular) think it's kind of a cool-guy thing to do. We're here to tell ya that no one wants to see you hock a big gooey one out of your car, onto the sidewalk, or anywhere else for that matter. Try a tissue.
* Honking Problem People who honk too often, too unnecessarily, or just to express their emotions are on our list of Most Etiquette Challenged. If you're trying to warn someone about a collision or problem, fine, otherwise it's not that serious. Give it a rest!

Yes.. I know, I know.. not all are the same.. but sure there is something that you will see on the road.. so here is it.. some help..

MY LANDLADY IS A FK BITCH

After staying for so long in my current rented room, I know that my stupid landlady is more than a fucking BITCH. It all started when I have drop my client’s pendrive somewhere outside of my rented room and I am afraid that the children (landlord’s one) will play with it and damage it. Let me stress on something. The pendrive is my client’s one and it have all the work that I have done so far. So it is important and I am supposed to have a meeting with her. I have back up some but not the latest work. So I call back to ask someone to help me to pick it up and keep it safe. At the first call (9 am), landlady pick up. When I told her the situation and she said “I am sorry. I am too tired to go down. I am still sleeping.” So I have no choice but to ask the maid to help me pick it up. On the 2nd call (10:30am), I call again to check out on the status. Again the landlady pick up, and she said “Sorry. I am still upstairs and I don’t want to go down. All my children are downstairs and I don’t want them to cling on me calling me mummy, mummy”. WTH. What the kind of mother are you? Anyway, I have to call the maid again. The maid found it and I told her to KEEP IT SAFE. She cannot LOST it. All my work is in there. When I come back, I will take it from her and then I stress again to NOT LOST IT and she promise not to lose it.

When I came back and they have come back from the restaurant, I ask the maid where my client’s pendrive is. That was when she told me that she LOST it and think that it might be somewhere in the house. Of course I got mad and told her that she should have put it somewhere safe. Then I started my “anxious” mode and when looking for the whole house for it. After looking for quite sometime, I gave up looking while the maid continues looking for it. I have told the landlord that if the maid cannot find the pendrive, she MIGHT need to compensate a bit. I will not have her to bear all of the cost because it is partially my fault also. At that time the landlord just say “OK” and I went back to find all the backs up files and redo the latest work just in case we really cannot find it. Later (at 2 am), I felt bad and went out to apologize on my action to the maid and explain everything. We have discussed and settle with sharing the cost without a grudge. Both of us are fine with it. If it is very cheap, then she will have to pay only RM10 for it while I bear the rest of the cost.

From this part of the story is where I have started to dislike my landlady.

Early the next morning, the maid has founded (around 3am) the pendrive somewhere on the mattress and came to pass me the stupid fucking message from the landlady. “Tell Miss Tan (me) that I am ANGRY at her” What the hell!!! You just woke up and this stupid message comes without reason. Since I am preparing for work I don’t have time to go and ask what in detail happen. So the maid gave me a summary of what she told the landlady.

“Maam tanya saya pukul berapa tidur. Saya beritahu dia pukul 3 pagi. Lepas to maam marah saya kenapa tak tidur dan pergi cari benda kakak. Saya juga ada beritahu maam, kakak ada bincang dengan saya and minta maaf dengan saya. Saya tak apa dan boleh kongsi bayar dengan kakak. Tapi maam tak mahu dengar. Suruh saya beritahu kakak bahawa maam marah dengan kakak.”


What the shit she wants. Ignoring what happen at the moment and rush to work. That day was a VERY unlucky day for me. Things went wrong from the start maybe because I got affected by the stupid message.

When I came back from work, the landlord confronted me and said I owe the maid an apology. !%@#%$^*@#^*!@!* What did I do until I need to apologize again. He start by saying that it is my fault that I lost my things and I have no right to demand money from the maid because she is doing me a favor by helping me find it. I should come back and find it. Yes. That part is correct. However, it is her responsibility to keep it safe because she promise to do so. Once you promise you have to keep the promise and it have nothing to do with favor. I really want to fucking answer him back that time “I am also doing a favor by placing 100% of my trust on her when she promise to do so that time. And the way you are saying now tells me that it is very STUPID of me to do so. You are saying that I should not TRUST her at all.” FUCK. I have the feeling that the idiot landlady didn’t tell her husband every thing and purposely accuse me and told him another story. I am very sure she didn’t tell him the real story because he silent down when I told him I already apologize earlier to the maid. If he doesn’t believe, then he can go and ask the maid. Still there is a tension. I am so fucking mad at them at that time and I don’t want to meet them at all.

Later that day when I talk to the maid(we usually have pet chat), she said that landlady scold her horribly when she cannot take care of 3 young children and always bring up the incident of her helping me to find the pendrive. @&^@#%%?#>< Just because of this she is so mad about it and she cannot forgive?? What have this to do with her? It is the problem of me and the maid. The maid is cool about it. I am cool about it already. SO WHAT THE FUCK SHE HAS TO INTERFERE. She as a mother, she don’t want to take care of the children and always keep hiding in that stupid bedroom. WHAT RIGHT DOES SHE HAVE TO BUTT IN OUR PROBLEM AND HOW CAN SHE CALL HERSELF A MOTHER!!!!!! I have never seen her take care of her children at home at all!!! All she does is throw 3 small girls to the maid and expect the maid to do cooking and cleaning while entertaining the children?? She only comes down when she is hungry in the afternoon.

Until today, that bitchy landlady is still mad at me and ignoring me. What do I care. She is not an important person in my life but what I hate is, she keeps saying she is a Christian and people should forgive (from last time conversation). On the other hand, she cannot forgive this small thing. That bitch is giving a bad name to the Christian people. If she wants to keep that grudge then it is up to her. She can fucking forget about asking me for any favor next time. I am not doing anything for her already. After staying with her for so long and helping her so many times, she can be said as “Kacang lupakan kulit” person, an ass bitch. I am not helping her to any emergency anymore. Not even like last time, sending that bitch to the hospital. Now I know why everyone doesn’t like to stay here. From the entire previous tenant complains, I have heard them complaining on the landlady the most in every conversation.

Recent updates on myside and my complains

Hello, It has been a very very long time since I write and complain on things.. So now I am going to compile all the complains that I have and summarize the time line of my latest update all in one blog.

First I have change my job for quite sometime already and I am currently working as an in-house designer. Our company is a small company (according to the boss). The job is a bit nice and good for me as a newly starter. Learning quite a lot of things regarding printing but having a hard time continuing the previous designer’s job. I don’t even know what she is doing and the boss didn’t quite know about it also. Haii… the hand over from the previous designer was only half a day and most of the time she just talk about the company and told me some “advise for working”. Ha ha ha. Just some tips on work. However, she didn’t tell me how and where to find her files. She didn’t tell me on the project she is working on. Which makes me VERY blur when the boss suddenly come and ask me on that topic. Huh? What the hell…!! I got the shock of my life on that.

Working here is nice and at the same time it is not worth the salary. It is nice when the boss is out of the office or she is oversea. Life in office is EVEN better when BOSS’S Precious is not in the office also. Our boss has a favorite gal or I should call her the “Personal Assistant” instead of marketing staff. She will ask only her for opinion and then ignore most of our suggestion. It is so obvious that even me, the new staff can see it on the first week. The favorite gal will spend most of her day online at friendster, msn, yahoo messenger and etc,etc. As a marketing staff, it is her responsibility to meet and serve the client that came to our shop. However, she will always pass the customer to other staff (including me that don’t know anything that time) and gave and excuse that she is very busy with work while on her screen she is on yahoo messenger. What is so busy about that?

The boss is also very fussy, picky, demanding and fickle minded. How can you say one thing now and then say another thing contrast to your words in the same conversation? What the hell. You want this concept or that concept? You want to print out or not? You always suggest things when it already happen? You are the one who knows it and still you denied it after that. Always start to blame on people when something goes wrong. The boss didn’t even provide the medical insurance for me. To make it worst, she verbally said supposedly I will be entitle to my annual leaves after working for one year only. I am not to have any annual leaves within the first year. !?@$^#*%^%*#$. Where got a law like that in Malaysia. I have ask other employer and they said that there is no such law in Malaysia. Damn. I am WORKING OT FOR FREE ALSO!!! She don’t want to give OT…!!!! I have to stay back and work because I have to meet her ridiculous deadline that she gave me..

There is “nun” who is so jealous about every thing and keeps complaining her stuff to me. So I got to know quite amount of things from her. Haii. I am force to listen to her nagging and complain. Attitude problem. Just because you are older doesn’t mean you can joke on other people but other people can’t do the same to you. What the hell. How can you just say that because you are old already you cannot change and we have to change because we are younger. There are times for us to change and adapt to you while you cannot change and adapt to us. Don’t use age to make an excuse to not change yourself. If it is like that, then I just want to say that you have no right to an adult. Just stay at an old lady and rot. If you can’t take a joke, then don’t come and make a joke other people. You are not the only one have troubles at home. We all have and we have to solve it ourselves. Just because you have work to do doesn’t mean that I don’t have work to do. Just because I always have to look at the screen doesn’t mean that I don’t have to think and work it out? What you think? I can just do something without taking time to think?

Working with a client is also problem. When it is end of the month of course you will ask for your payment. She said that I always ask for my payment in advance. WTF. When I finish my work for the month, of course I will ask for the payment at the last week of the month. There is nothing wrong with it. That is how the “part time” system works unless you have an agreement and it said otherwise. To make it worst, I am doing a favor for her by printing out the draft for free. Do you know how much a color printing cost just for an A4? And it is not one piece? At least 5 pieces. Not counting the car petrol to send the draft to her. Damn. I should ask her for more money instead of what I am having now.

Shit! After all this stupid things, I think I want to have a very long long vaction. I am mentally tired and stress because of human. How come some human are just born to be a pain in the ass for another human? The next year, when I resign from this job, I hope will get at least one month vacation before I start the new job again. I didn’t get that long vacation that I want this year. So I hope I can get one. Anytime will do. At the same time I still hope I will get a better job in Singapore. If I do, then I will be one step closer to my aim in career.

Long awaited Moment

After so long, waiting and complaining and stress, I have FINALLY TENDER my resignation. At last I have the guts to resign. Ha ha ha ha. This took me VERY long to do create that damn letter and pass it to my manager. Haii…I am disappointed at myself. Anyway, there has been a lot of trouble and I have faces a numerous misery trials when I am in the company. Therefore, I think it is time to move on and face another challenge before I get to comfortable there (Which I think that feeling is starting to emerge).

With that decision, I have tender without a job to back up. Some of you may think that I am CRAZY to tender without a job, which makes your opinion same with my parents and most colleague, I think it is worth the while. For your information, my company require us to give TWO and I mean REALLY “2” months notice before you can really leave the company. Most of the companies out there required only one month but for some reason, my company needs TWO month. If I were to leave earlier than 2 month, I am required to compensate the company back with my salary. For that reason, I do not want to waste my salary on them... I am kind of taking the risk and if I do not get any job by the end of the month, I will just have to treat it as my “Long awaited Holiday” that I didn’t get from my current company. So give me your opinion whether it is good to take this risk or not. I want to know.

Since I have tender my letter, this means I am currently looking for a job. I am looking for a job which have something to do with design. If you guys have a vacancy in your company or any where, please do drop by a note to me. I would like to try my luck to find out whether I am still fit to be designer back. After 2 years away from the field, I know I will be counted as OUT-dated. However, I would still like to try my luck. Maybe… Maybe just one small company out there is willing to take me in their care. ^_^

Anyway, I am still busy with my portfolio. Have to start to create some new works and hope they will impress the interviewer. At the same time think of a way to play my online game. Ha ha ha. I am still a game idiot. Since Ragnarok Online have another free sever again, I will spend my bored time with it. But most of the time I will be running here and there to look for a good internet cafe to play. The phone line / streamyx still suck at my area. Or it is only I have that problem. I seem to DC all the time. The longest record I have was 1 hour while the shortest one was about 30 seconds. There are a few people told me that it could me the house phone cable. That makes it worst. I can’t call the landlord to fix his house phone cable. Haii...

Another thing that I am worried about is the salary of the new job. Will I be able to support myself? And it is far from my current place? My rental now is quite cheap but the situation in the house is bad. If I were to move out, I am sure I will not be able to get another cheap room like this. Anyway I have complained too much. Better stop now before all things seep out without control. ^ 0 ^

I need WAYS TO GET GOOD LUCK!!!!

It has been a long long time since the last blog I wrote.. Hahaha. Any way.. I need idea to on "How to Bring Good Luck to your Life.." It seems that this year will not be a good year for me.. There are lot of event, happened to me and I don’t think that it is a good thing… Hai…. My luck seems to be veeerryyyy bad and gloommyyy for me this year. It seems that this is not my year at all. Looks like the CNY luck have been use up and dried out to the last one already.. all there is left is…………. I want my HOLIDAY BACK!!!!!!

At first I don’t care about these luck things, but more and more stuff happen which make me doubt that it is a fair luck year.. For example, yesterday, my door’s lock have broken into half. This is something that you don’t see often. That lock suddenly BROKE into HALF when I try to open the door!!!! What happened??? Is that handle so weak until I can just break it with a turn of the key or I am too strong???? To make it worst.. I was lock outside!! I can’t get in !!!.. Who is the IDOT who make the lock SO WEAK!!?!?!?! Lucky for me a bit, the landlord is there to help. If not, I don’t need to sleep at all. For the reason that, I will not be able to lock the door for the mean time until I get help and replace it as soon as possible. Which makes things event bad for me. So most people know my landlord’s make have a reputation to keep. A REPUTATION OF RANSACKING THE ROOMS FOR FOOD. Hence, how am I suppose to be clam down and leave for work with a big rat at my house waiting to ambush my food?? MY Precious FOOODD. I will die without my food. I just hope when she loot, she will take those expired one out for me. Hahahaahahaha.

It seems today there is earthquake in Sumatera and it seems to be a big one. Amazingly, I can feel it shaking from my office in Cyberjaya. The first one was kind of weak but the 2nd one was really strong. I wonder we will have another tsunami in Malaysia? Will it be like the first one?

Office is very boring now. There aren’t much thing to celebrate at the early of the year and my department’s DE is getting worst and worst. If anyone have read about my previous 2 IDOT COLLEAGUE, now I have another very worst one… damn lazy and stupid… hai… I keep thinking that my department is CURSED!!!! Well what other reason there is other than CURSE!!. . . maybe need to get one Fung Shui master to come and check on the department name. This new one is worst that the previous 2.. far more worst.. how I wish that I don’t need them to do my work.

GERAM AND IRRITATING

You know… One of the irritating characters that I really don’t like is a stranger or friends trying to persuade or convince that it is good for you when you know you don’t want it. I have met a person like that in my new place. He is a good guy but he is always on a rush and I don’t know why he likes that kind of life style. But still he is a nice person to chat with. Almost good but not good friend until it come to the part where he always yum cha with me. Btw, he is an insurance seller, which make him natural in PR.

I don’t mind going out and yum cha with him but I DO mind EVERY TIME HE GO OUT and ALWAYS CONVINCE ME TO BUY AN INSURANCE. It is very very irritating. Almost every time we are out, that stupid topic are sure to be raise. YES. I know insurance is good as a tool just in case you really meet into accidents. But you know your limit whether you can afford yourself to buy something these kinds of protection. When you know you can’t afford it, you will not buy it. But there is one idiot always persuade me to buy it just because he works as an agent and he knows the important of it. It is not like I don’t know how to important it is, however if that is going to burden me in financially, I am not that stupid to put myself into a commitment that cannot benefit me. Even though it does benefits me and protect me, it is going to burden me for the rest of the 50 years you know. To make it even worst, I requested for some time to think about the offer that he have propose. Thinking that maybe when I have seek some opinion and then assurance, I can contact him to make a deal and I hope he will listen. On the contrary, he keep on babbling more..
